Products, stock and options
Adding a product
Under Products, add a name, price, description and at least one photo. You can
reorder photos, pick which one is the cover, and add alt text for each (good for
accessibility and search).
Variants
If a product comes in more than one size or colour, add variants. Each variant has
its own price (optional, otherwise it uses the product's price), its own stock
count, and can have its own photo.
Stock and availability
Stock is tracked per product or per variant. When something sells out, the
storefront shows it as sold out rather than letting a customer order it. Customers
can ask to be notified when a sold-out item is back; you'll see who's waiting on
the product's stock alert list, and they get one email the moment it's back in
stock.
The overview page shows a Low stock panel for anything running low, so you can
reorder before you actually run out.
Bundles
A bundle is a product made of other products, sold and priced as one item (for
example a gift set). Its "stock" comes from whichever component runs out first.
Turn it on with the "is a bundle" toggle on the product form and pick the
components.
Quantity breaks
You can offer a discount for buying more of the same product, for example "buy 2,
save 20%". Set up the tiers under Discounts, then switch it on per product.
Collections
Group products into collections (categories) so customers can browse by type.
Collections can be nested (a department with sub-categories underneath).
Bulk edits
Select more than one product on the products list to bulk add or remove from a
collection, change price by a percentage or fixed amount, or set stock, in one
go.
Importing your catalogue
If you're moving from Shopify, you can import your product CSV export directly:
Import under the dashboard. It matches existing products by SKU or handle so a
re-import can add photos or fix details without duplicating anything.
