Email marketing
Consent first
Storeforge only emails a customer who's actually agreed to it: an unticked
consent box at checkout, a sign-up form, or a customer you've recorded as
having agreed elsewhere. If someone unsubscribes, that always wins, even over
data you import later.
Sending from your own mailbox
Marketing email sends from your own mailbox (Gmail, Workspace, or another
host), connected under Email sender with a real test send to prove it
works before anything goes to a customer. This keeps your sending reputation
your own and costs the platform, and you, nothing extra. Until a sender is
connected, nothing leaves the queue, campaigns can't be sent.
Campaigns and segments
Build a one-off campaign with a simple block editor, and target it at a
segment (for example, everyone who bought in the last 90 days). New campaigns
start pre-filled with your newest products and active discount code, so you're
editing a real email rather than starting from nothing.
Automations
Four automations run on their own once switched on: a welcome email for new
subscribers, a thank-you after a first order, a review request once an order's
delivered, and a win-back for customers who've gone quiet.
Unsubscribing
Every marketing email carries a working one-click unsubscribe link. Once
someone unsubscribes, they're never emailed again by this shop's marketing,
regardless of what a later import says about them.
Importing consent from Shopify
A Shopify customer CSV import carries across whether each customer had already
agreed to marketing emails there, so you don't have to ask everyone again.
