Account, password and security
Confirming your email
After you register, we send a confirmation link to your email. You can carry on
setting up your shop straight away without clicking it, but a few things wait
for it: live card payments, connecting a custom domain, and giving staff their
own logins. Resend the confirmation email from the dashboard banner if you need
to.
Password
Change your password from Your page in the dashboard. If you forget it, use
"Forgot password" on the login page to get a reset link by email.
Staff logins
Give staff their own logins under Team, so you're not sharing one password
around. Each staff member can be limited to only the parts of the dashboard
they need, and "Can handle money" controls whether they can refund orders, mark
orders paid, see takings, or ring up a custom-priced sale, separately from
everything else they can do.
Logging out
Logging out from any device ends that session properly; it can't be triggered
by just visiting a link, and an old session is refused the moment it's revoked.
Keeping your account secure
Use a real password you don't reuse elsewhere. If anything about your account
